Personal mobile bird feeder

U.S. Patent No. 5,996,127

The problem with most bird feeders is that either there are no birds around when you're watching or you can't get close enough to really appreciate them.

The personal mobile bird feeder solves those problem.

Patented in 1999, it consists of a helmet with various counter-balanced rods protruding from the front and sides.

At the rods' ends dangle seed-stuffed feeders.

All you do is put the bird feeder on your head and wait for feathered company.

Some versions include nectar-feeders for hummingbirds and butterflies, flip-down magnifying glasses and extra perches for birds waiting their turn at the trough.
