Why the name Sharp Rubber Duck?

It goes back to the days of children playing with swords made of rubber. I figure a Sharp Rubber Duck would not hurt any one.

Way back when we were kids, little kids, back in the dark days before off-shoring, before the internet, before personnel computers, back when Russia and China were threatening to destroy the world, kids were kids, we played and made believe in a world where we did grand and stupid things. We were the soldiers that won WWII, we were the cowboys that tamed the west. Soon we became space cowboys, emulated action figures and learned to either get along, work together, or became bullies to dominate those we could.

Those were days not seen in years. We learned with rubber weapons or tools and sometimes rubber ideas, we shot toy guns loaded with rubber bullets. We built weird things with Erector Sets". We had fun and learned tools of life.

Today the world has become a very different place. A dangerous place with power in the hands of a few. Welded for profit, the size never before imagined. Our country failing, loosing direction, beaten at the whim of our own politicians for the benefit of their friends. Used and abused by our so-called allies. Threatened and attacked by terrorists, some we still think of as friends. While it is time to regain control, there is still a place for Sharp Rubber Duck thinking.

Sharp Rubber Duck is here to provide a simpler view of the world. What works, what doesn't.

You may not agree with SRD, SRD may not agree with you. This is SRD, playing with the rubber mind.

The only time to stop learning is when your dead.

If you walk in another mans' shoes you may get athletes foot or hoof and mouth and die.

Sharp Rubber Duck will provide resources and links useful to the Medical Marijuana community, primarily patients who can grow their own and grower/providers to those who are unable to grow their own.

Now you know, the meaning of life is to live, in the moment of now, for then may not be.

If the sand on the beach were the replaced with a suns, earth would need more sand.
