Comedy Face Masks

 

American-style Curried Cauliflower (very easy)

4 servings

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 2 teaspoons arrowroot or cornstarch
  • 1 cup fat-free half-and-half
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 cup light sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Separate cauliflower into florets and discard leaves.

Steam cauliflower for 3 to 5 minutes, or until it can easily be pierced with a fork.

Meanwhile, in a small, heavy-bottomed saucepan, dissolve arrowroot or cornstarch in fat-free half-and-half.
Add curry powder and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Once sauce boils, remove it from heat and add the sour cream and parsley.
Pour the sauce over the hot cauliflower.

Per serving: 77 calories, 1 g fat, 5 mg cholesterol, 82 mg sodium, 12 g carbohydrates; 2 g protein, 1 g fiber.
