Comedy Face Masks

 

Chicken Marsala

4 servings

  • 4 skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped shallots
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup marsala wine
  • 8 tablespoons cold butter, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Salt and pepper the chicken on both sides. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook 4 minutes per side, or until nicely browned.

Lower the temperature to medium-low, cover and cook for 10 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan. Add the shallots and mushrooms, and cook for a few minutes. Add the marsala, stirring over low heat until it begins to bubble. Add the butter a slice at a time, stirring until the butter becomes opaque and forms a thickened sauce.

Spoon the sauce over the chicken and serve.

Damage per serving: 579 calories, 43 g fat, 161 mg cholesterol, 526 mg sodium, 4 g carbohydrates, 41 g protein, 1 g fiber.

This is indeed delicious and easy.
