Cranberry Mojito

Chef Jeff Leidy won the $25,000 top prize in Ocean Spray's Ultimate Cranberry Recipe Contest with this nonalcoholic cocktail.

Makes 1 serving

  • 4 cubes brown sugar
  • 10 mint leaves (about 1/4 ounce)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 ounce sweetened dried cranberries
  • 2 cups cubed ice
  • 6 ounces cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 sugar cane swizzle stick
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 1 mint sprig

 

 

Place sugar cubes, mint leaves, lime juice and sweetened dried cranberries in a bar tumbler and begin to crush and blend with a muddling stick. Blend until dried cranberries and mint are minced; sugar will be dissolved. Add ice and cranberry juice. Mix well and pour into a 20-ounce tall glass. Garnish with lime wedge, swizzle stick and mint sprig.
