Swirled Ice Cream Pie

8 servings

  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (divided use)
  • 1 prepared 8-inch chocolate crumb crust
  • 1 cup Nestle Swirled Milk Chocolate & Peanut Butter Morsels (divided use)
  • 1 quart (4 cups) vanilla or chocolate ice cream, slightly softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts

Spread 1/4 cup of the peanut butter over the bottom of the crust. Sprinkle with 2/3 cup of the morsels. Place small scoops of the ice cream over the morsels. Freeze the pie for a few minutes if the ice cream becomes too soft.

Place the remaining 2 tablespoons of peanut butter in a small, heavy-duty plastic bag. Microwave on high power for about 20 seconds, or until soft, kneading until smooth. Cut a small hole in the corner of the bag; squeeze to drizzle the peanut butter over the ice cream. Sprinkle the peanuts and remaining morsels over top of pie. Cover; freeze for 2 hours, or until firm.

Remove the pie from the freezer and allow it to stand at room temperature for about 20 minutes, or until it is just soft enough to cut, before serving.
