The Birth of a Legend

Santa was having a terrible day. He had just learned about the hazards of his job while reading his e-mail. His elves had had a wild night out, were drunk and unproductive, the deer were irritable and one had a lame leg and Rudolf's nose wasn't working, and Mrs. Santa was on his back for a thousand reasons.

When, there was a quiet knock at his door. Santa opened the door and there stood a lovely little angel, carrying a Christmas tree. And she said, "Mr. Santa, could you please tell me where to put this tree?" And that's why there are angels at the top of Christmas trees.
