Noah and the Snakes

As the waters declined, Noah stood before all the animals on the ark and commanded them to “Go forth and multiply.”

And so they did, emptying the boat until there was just a pair of snakes left. Noah looked at the serpents. “Why are you still here?” he asked.

The snakes replied: “We can't multiply. We're adders.”
