Diabetes And Wrists, which causes which?

In more that expected, people who develop type 2 diabetes have a history of carpal tunnel syndrome. The wrist nerve problem sometimes predates the onset of diabetes by up to 10 years, a U.K. study says.

A London team examined medical records for 644, 495 patients for the first occurances of carpal tunnel syndrome.

The pre diabeties group was 36 percent more likely to have carpal tunnel syndrome than the control group.
