Y2K+1

Begin Preparing NOW!!!

You may have noticed that the water didn't stop flowing through the pipes at the dawn of the new millennium, so you now have plenty of time (and stored up water) to come to grips with the real problem, Y2K+1. 

Sometime during Y2K+1 a large black rectangular alien artifact will be discovered that when uncovered and activated by the sunlight will fire off a burst of high frequency radio waves that will wipe out the ROM chips of all the computer aided devices on the planet, forcing us to use pencils, mechanical adding machines, phones with cords, acoustic guitars, wind-up watches, '57 Chevys, and round black and white TV's from the '50's.

As you may remember, the discovery of an alien artifact in Y2K+1 was predicted many years ago by Arthur C. Clark, but even he did not anticipate the far-reaching consequences of this discovery or the impact it would have on our society. 

We should begin preparing now!!!   Start collecting Junk before it's too late!!!

So Okay, it didn't happen in Y2K+1 but you can be sure it will happen in Y2K+2 or 3, or maybe 4....
